Our chosen charity partners serve Waterloo Region. We believe supporting grassroots charities serves and supports the needs of our local community.
CHANGE Lifestyle & Apparel wants to help make this world a better place, one community at a time. We can’t think of a better way to do this than by supporting the organizations who are already doing the good work: our local charities.
What do we donate?
We donate 10% of all our proceeds to our chosen charity partner for a full three month period.
We donate 10% first...not after our bills are paid.
We give more than 10%
Our partnership is based on our commitment to promote the partner charity for a three month period through our social media channels, website, and in-store promotion. Our goal is to spotlight the work and needs of each charity and donate 10% of our gross sales during the term of our partnership to the charity.
Why do this?
We do this because we know that every organization is in need.
Every charity is valuable.
Every person is important.
By committing to many organizations, and not just one, we can help strengthen our collective community.
We're working to build stronger neighbourhoods. In every corner - repairing every crack, brick by brick, utilizing the foundational element of every great community - compassion.
Our current charity partner
Waterloo Wellington Down Syndrome Society
The Waterloo Wellington Down Syndrome Society is a registered charity founded in 1988 by a group of engaged parents. Since that time, they have remained a volunteer-led organization and have grown their community to over 120 member families, leading a variety of events, programs, and educational workshops. WWDSS does not receive any government funding, they rely solely on private donations and corporate sponsorships to run their programs and activities.
This important charity works tirelessly to support and inform individuals, families, and the community on issues related to Down syndrome. They advocate for people with Down syndrome to lead healthy and active lives, enabling them to contribute their unique gifts to our community. We couldn't be prouder to partner with this great charity.
We are honoured to donate 10% of all sales, online & in-store from now until June 30th.
