Why We're Making Room for More Canadian Brands 🌏🌱

When we opened CHANGE Lifestyle & Apparel, I knew we wanted to build more than a store. We wanted to create a place where every product had earned its place, where the brands we carried cared about people, community, and the planet as much as they cared about what they made.

That's why B Corp Certified brands became the foundation of CHANGE. They still are.

But over the past few years, we've met so many Canadian founders who share those same values. They're designing thoughtfully, producing responsibly, supporting their communities, and building businesses with intention. Many simply haven't reached the point where pursuing B Corp Certification makes sense.

It made me realize that while our values haven't changed, our collection could grow.

So we're excited to welcome Canadian brands into CHANGE. This isn't about replacing our commitment to B Corp, it's about expanding it. 

For me, this is also a celebration of independent retail. One of the best parts of shopping local is discovering something you weren't looking for: a beautifully made product, a founder with a great story, or a Canadian brand you've never come across before. That's something algorithms can't curate.

At CHANGE, every brand is chosen with intention. We ask where products are made, how they're made, and who they're made by. We look for quality, longevity, and businesses that are creating a positive impact, not because it's trendy, but because it's how they choose to operate.
