PAINT NIGHT August 27

Paint Night in the Village – Tuesday August 27 6:15 pm

Join Us for a BEGINNER Friendly Paint Night. We will be painting Butterfly on Milkweed Bloom to build awareness of our participation in the Butterfly Way Project. Canvas’s will be prepared with a detailed light tracing of the image to ensure the process is accessible to all levels of experience.

Ticket price includes all materials needed for the evening, a beverage of your choice and some light snacks, with all proceeds going to SASC (Sexual Assault Support Center of Waterloo Region) Please wear appropriate clothes and also know the evening is recommended for 16 and older. 

The evening will be hosted by Bree King, alumni of the University of Guelph’s Studio Art Program. While learning the technical fundamentals of various art mediums, Bree also discovered the value of art as a means of building community. Bree is very excited to incorporate these experiences with her time at change and host an event that combines art with the St Jacob’s community and the Butterfly Project.
